How to Register for Covid-19 Vaccination
An online registration process has been set up for many Philippine cities and towns, though quite a few also accept manual signups through Barangay. To register for vaccination online visit this page from the Department of Health and select your region.
As you make your selection you’ll automatically be redirected to the vaccine registration website for your region.
Depending on your age, place on the priority list, and the progress of the vaccine rollout, you may or may not immediately be scheduled in for an appointment to receive your shot.
Note: At most vaccination sites it’s required you schedule an appointment in advance. Please keep this is mind to prevent showing up for nothing.
Which Vaccine Brand Will I Get?
Wikipedia maintains an up-to-date list of approved and available vaccines in the Philippines.
As of June 1, 2021 the approved + available vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac and Sputnik V. Covaxin, Janssen and Moderna have been approved but are not yet available.
You can expect to receive one of those listed available vaccines. Most likely you won’t be able to choose which one you get as usually they’re automatically assigned based on supply, your age and other relevant factors at the time.
